Terms & Conditions of Pension am Hügel

Effective from: January 2026

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Pension am Hügel, operated by Helga Palasser, Am Hügel 6, 9560 Feldkirchen in Kärnten, and its guests regarding the provision of accommodation and other services.

2. Contract Conclusion

The accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the booking request. This can be done in writing, verbally, or by email. With the booking confirmation, these Terms and Conditions become part of the contract.

3. Services

Pension am Hügel undertakes to provide the agreed rooms and to render the agreed services. This includes:

  • Provision of a clean and properly equipped room
  • Optional breakfast buffet (if booked)
  • Use of common areas
  • Free WiFi

4. Prices and Payment

The prices valid at the time of booking apply. Prices are per person per night. Children up to 6 years stay free of charge in the parents' room. Children up to 14 years receive a 50% discount.

Payment is usually made upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer. A deposit may be arranged for longer stays.

5. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM

For early arrivals or late departures, luggage storage will be provided if possible.

6. Cancellation

Free cancellation: Up to 48 hours before arrival
24-48 hours before arrival: 50% of the room rate
Less than 24 hours before arrival: 100% of the room rate
No-show: 100% of the room rate

7. Liability

The guesthouse is liable according to legal provisions. For items brought in, the guesthouse is liable according to Austrian legal provisions for accommodation contracts. Guests are asked to keep valuables themselves or deposit them at the reception.

8. House Rules

Guests agree to comply with the house rules:

  • Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas
  • Pets are welcome by arrangement
  • Respectful behavior towards other guests and staff
  • Damages must be reported immediately

9. Complaints

Complaints should be reported immediately to the operator so that appropriate remedial action can be taken. For justified complaints, an appropriate solution will be sought.

10. Final Provisions

Austrian law applies. Place of performance and jurisdiction is Feldkirchen in Kärnten. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

11. Special Provisions

Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Cooking Facilities: In the common room there is a kitchen unit for self-catering.
Parking: Free parking spaces are available.
