These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Pension am Hügel, operated by Helga Palasser, Am Hügel 6, 9560 Feldkirchen in Kärnten, and its guests regarding the provision of accommodation and other services.
The accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the booking request. This can be done in writing, verbally, or by email. With the booking confirmation, these Terms and Conditions become part of the contract.
Pension am Hügel undertakes to provide the agreed rooms and to render the agreed services. This includes:
The prices valid at the time of booking apply. Prices are per person per night. Children up to 6 years stay free of charge in the parents' room. Children up to 14 years receive a 50% discount.
Payment is usually made upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer. A deposit may be arranged for longer stays.
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
For early arrivals or late departures, luggage storage will be provided if possible.
Free cancellation: Up to 48 hours before arrival
24-48 hours before arrival: 50% of the room rate
Less than 24 hours before arrival: 100% of the room rate
No-show: 100% of the room rate
The guesthouse is liable according to legal provisions. For items brought in, the guesthouse is liable according to Austrian legal provisions for accommodation contracts. Guests are asked to keep valuables themselves or deposit them at the reception.
Guests agree to comply with the house rules:
Complaints should be reported immediately to the operator so that appropriate remedial action can be taken. For justified complaints, an appropriate solution will be sought.
Austrian law applies, excluding the conflict-of-law rules of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions provide otherwise. In particular, more favourable provisions of the law of the country in which a consumer has his or her habitual residence shall remain unaffected.
Place of performance is the registered seat of Pension am Hügel in Feldkirchen in Kärnten.
For disputes with business customers, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction for Feldkirchen in Kärnten shall have exclusive jurisdiction. With respect to consumers, only the statutory places of jurisdiction pursuant to § 14 of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) shall apply; in particular, the place of jurisdiction at the consumer's place of residence, habitual abode or place of employment shall remain unaffected.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Cooking Facilities: In the common room there is a kitchen unit for self-catering.
Parking: Free parking spaces are available.
